Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays

I hope everyone has been enjoying their holiday season - whatever you celebrate.  It's been a disorienting few weeks for me personally, holidays on a Wednesday are always a mess for my workweek. (I couldn't figure out what day it was on the 26th - Monday? Thursday? Saturday? Who knows!)  I've gotten plenty of relaxing and recharging in, which was all I wanted this year.  It's been a good time to reflect on the year gone by and think about the future.

This year has been a whirlwind for Enriched Macaroni Products.  I've introduced pins, stickers, cat toys, coloring books, and the line of classic-sized monsters.  I've branched out into other local cities, which was always mostly exciting but still a little nerve-wracking.  The website is looking so much better now, I'm really happy with where I've gotten it to.  I've made a whole bunch more amazing friends in the maker and crafter community, and that support is always amazing to have.  I think I may have done more shows than ever, which is a crazy thing to think about.

Looking towards the future... I'm never sure.  I've got some plans to add more pet items to the pasta line - they've been a big hit and really fun to get pet "reviews" from.  I've still got so much monster fabric to work through so I imagine there will be far more of those as well.  I know I will be keeping forward on this path as it brings me a lot of joy to see these creations out in the world, enjoyed by kids and pets of all ages and types.

My power word for 2020 is dedication.  I've put my hands in a lot of pots over the last year, and I feel like I've made a lot of innovation. But this next year will be focused on dedicating myself to find what works and what doesn't for me.  Dedicated to making time and focusing where I need to, dedicated to keeping my workflow organized and my deadlines in view at all times.  I want a cleaner, brighter, more focused, and less stressful year ahead of me for Enriched Macaroni Products.  Looking at all I've done in 2019, I'm pretty sure I can make it happen.

What are you looking forward to in 2020?  What do you want to see from me?  Were there any monsters or pastas in your holiday gifts?
